Can Your Conscious Mind Impress Other Minds?

As you may already know, the power of the subconscious mind is simply astonishing and once you’ve developed the power of your subconscious mind and the conscious mind, I believe you’ll agree with me that’s when the magic starts happening.

Recently, the issue of how conscious minds can impress other minds and our own subconscious minds has cropped up. You see, in my Inspired Action Coaching Program, one of the guiding texts I use is The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel and recently, one of my beloved clients, Flora told me her concern about this line :

“Not only can it (the conscious mind) impress other minds, but it can direct the subconscious mind.”

She doesn’t agree with it, so I showed her this video :

Facebook Users : Please click here to watch the video.

Interesting, don’t you think?

Here’s Flora’s concern…

NO one can impress others minds!

For other minds to be impressed, they have to willingly and consciously
accept the “impressions”.

In fact if this was true, we would be running around doing other’s wills and would not be responsible for whatever situation we are in, which you know is not so. We are responsible for what we are, do, etc.

She still believes that the conscious mind cannot impress other minds.

I, on the other hand believe the opposite and my evidence is what happened in this video.

Here’s my case :

I believe that we cannot impress other minds consciously.

However, if we are able to find a way to bypass others’ conscious minds and send the message straight to the subconscious mind, the non-judgmental subconscious mind will accept it as true and…

Indeed, “we would be running around doing other’s wills”

Here’s where I would love to hear your opinion, my friend.

What’s your take on this issue? Please leave me a comment below and I’ll put your response with the others’ together to form a coherent conclusion.

Oprah Winfrey’s 2008 Stanford Commencement Address

If you follow Oprah Winfrey on her show, you’d know that this beautiful woman is also a huge advocate of the Law of Attraction.

And in this Stanford Commencement Speech, Oprah Winfrey’s paradigm on life is definitely in line with what I’ve been trying to get across to the world.

Watch it below:

For the full 30 minute video, please click here

I got a few takeaways from this short excerpt that I feel could be given a little more elaboration.

1) Life Whispers & If You Ignore It You’ll Get A Scream.

In my book, “The Law of Inspired Action” that you can download for free here, I mentioned that both of us are able to connect to the Universal Mind and if only we follow the inner nudges, our lives would be so much easier.

And like Oprah said, “Life whispers and if you ignore it you’ll get a scream”.

Very accurate.

Let me share with you my “scream” that happened about 5 months ago.

I came home exhausted.

I put my bag down and I remember that I have a soccer match in 3 hours time.

Everything in my heart told me not to go.

But I still went ahead with it.

1 hour into the game, I tore my Achilles tendon that left me bed-ridden for a good 3 months.

So, I asked myself, “Why did I attract this into my life?”

And I thought that the answer was because so that I can expand my online business.

2) The Scream - Part Two

Today, I found out that’s only part of the reason.

The lesson re-appeared to me today wearing another pair of pants, as Oprah said.

I had an Asthma attack that left me gasping for a good 4 hours.

So, “What is this here to teach me?”

To take breaks and not push myself too hard because it will only lead to a physical breakdown.

I know you might have heard me say I’ve learnt this before but l guess I never truly did.

And as we both know, the School of Life will serve you the same lessons again and again until you pass the test.

I’ll probably have to write something into my morning daily affirmations to remind me of it.

3) The Big Question - How Do I Recognize Life’s Whisper?

In the last few months, I have discovered that The Law of Inspired Action is the one law that has made the biggest difference in my life.

And people have asked me that difficult question :

“How do I recognize an Inspired Idea?”

I couldn’t answer it then.

But now, I’ll try to answer it.

An Inspired Idea :

1) Has the Universal Collective in mind (i.e the community) instead of just your needs

That’s the difference between Inspiration & the Ego-sanction.

2) Will be converted into Inspired Action which is easy, fun and impactful.

If the action you take feels dreary, it’s most probably not an Inspired Action.

But sometimes, it’s just your counter-intentions holding you back.

So, how do you know which is which?

3) Nudges you to take Inspired Action now!

If you take Inspired Action the second you get that Inspiration and it feels fun and easy, but only later on feels dreary, it means that it was an Inspiration but your counter-intentions are blocking that Source Energy.

So what you need to do now is get rid of those counter-intentions through Ho’oponopono or Emotional Freedom Technique.

4) Comes from a place of service

Like Oprah Winfrey said, when you operate from the paradigm of service, it turns everything you do from a job into a gift.

That’s exactly what Inspired Action is all about.

When you help others create abundance in their lives in one shape or form while coming from a place of service, it doesn’t take much work on your part.

And it becomes a gift to others.

And in the process as a wise man once said:

“The beauty of this life is that you can’t help others without helping yourself in the process.”

So, what will you do to help yourself, my friend?

If you’re like most people, you wouldn’t know where to start.

I’m going to give you one tip that I gave to a coaching client last week.

If you decided to FULLY live your life, what’s the first change you would make?

What would be a small step in that direction?

Write me a comment below and I’ll keep you accountable, my friend!

Oprah Winfrey Stanford Commencement Speech

Hey my friend, below is the full 30 minute Oprah Winfrey Stanford Commencement Speech :

I’m a big believer that taking notes while listening to something increases retention, so open a word processing application and start typing. =)

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would leave me a comment and tell me what’s your biggest takeaway from this whole Stanford Commencement Address by Oprah Winfrey.

Muhammad Ali’s Secret To Becoming The Greatest

Imagine that you and I are now in 1964.

You and I are both wearing what people in the 60’s wore and just for the fun of it, let’s imagine that we’re in a black and white television world.

We have never heard of Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali’s name before he became a Muslim)

And we’re about to hear him speak. Let’s listen in :

We have just heard him recite this poem with vigor and enthusiasm.

“What do you think of him?”, you ask me.

I don’t know about you but after listening to that, I believe him.

I was entertained but I also bought into what he was selling me - his vision.

Here’s a 22 year-old kid who’s going to challenge Sonny Liston and believes that he will be the Heavyweight Champion of the World.

I don’t know if he’s going to win since they’ve given Sonny 7-1 odds of winnng the match but I like his character and determination, so I’ll put my money on him.

STOP!

All right, let’s come back to 2008.

History reveals that Cassius Clay defeated Sonny Liston and went on to become the greatest boxer and in my opinion, one of sport’s greatest living legends.

So, do you want to know his secret?

Before I tell you that, I just want to tell you that sure, I’ve heard of the name Muhammad Ali before and how greatness he was I never understood why…

Until I watched the movie “Ali” acted by Will Smith, which documented the living legend’s life.

And as much as Ali was a great boxer, I don’t believe he was the greatest in terms of ability.

However, he was the greatest because he always managed to bring down those better than him through the power of his mind.

More specifically, his mind-games.

What you have just witnessed is a very mild version of his mind games.

I’ll go more into that in a future post but for now, I intend to create my very own “I am the greatest speech” and make it into a video soon!

Look out for that! That’s going to be really fun!

It’s also a great visualization tool that I’m going to use since it really resonates with me =)

If you’d like to create your own and have some fun while co-creating your future, below are some tips.

How To Create Your Own “I Am The Greatest Speech”

I believe the power of Muhammad Ali’s speeches really come through because he makes others visualize what he wants to see manifest in his life.

And as a result, he gets people participating in his vision and as a result greater energy is driven into that vision, thus making almost every one of Ali’s predictions come through.

But he doesn’t do that by telling people, he does that by making it fun and memorable through the funny rhymes and situations intertwined with his ultimate vision (being the heavyweight champion of the world and consequently, the greatest.)

So here are the elements I noticed:

1) The Ultimate Vision Is Repeated

The ultimate vision of being the greatest is in the title, the ending and it is interspersed at appropriate junctures just as you begin to visualize with him.

This keeps reminding people of the ultimate vision and repetition will always get into the subconscious mind, which as we all know is where the magic of the law of attraction really happens.

2) Acting As If Principle

Notice how the first line is, “This is the legend of Cassius Clay”.

He didn’t say story because he wants to be a legend and that’s what he is right now.

How about, “A champion you can tell you kids to be like”?

Coincidence? Don’t think so!

3) Cocky Comedy

If you’ve heard of David DeAngelo you’d know that the term Cocky Comedy was taken from a pick-up book.

Here’s a great example from the video:

“I am so modest that I can admit my own fault.

My only fault is I don’t realize how great I really am.”

This is great!

In the Law of Inspired Action report, I revealed that I discovered that the best way to attract something is to have child-like wanting and curiosity of what will happen when you intend on receiving something from the Universe.

And I believe that’s what Ali is doing here.

Remember, the key to attracting what you want is being involved in the creation process but not so involved until you become attached to the outcome.

And the best way of letting go is to have child-like playful wanting.

Come on, you remember how you felt when you told your mom you wanted that toy and hoped you got it for your birthday!

4) Hypnotic Writing

I write the way I do because I learnt Joe Vitale’s Hypnotic Writing.

And Hypnotic Writing is all about leading you into a trance by doing two things.

1) Meeting you at where you are.

2) Slowly leading you to where I want you to go.

Ali did the same thing here.

He explains the situation of how the boxing world is at present :

“The fistic world was dull and weary.

With a champ like Liston, things had to be dreary”

And then he led you to where he wants you to go :

“Then someone of color, someone with dash

Brought fight fans a-running with cash”

After which he adds other elements to make him look like the hero of the poem.

5) Shared Visualization

Ali was smart in that he employed the word “you” to involve us in his visualization.

“And as you lie on the floor while the Ref counts 10

You pray that you won’t have to fight him again.”

Of course, this was directed to Sonny Liston and we all know that so this shared vision ultimately has a part in creating the eventual reality.

However, it’s also interesting to note how he also accomplishes to make us think of him in his desired way when we visualize ourselves in the ring with him.

6) The 3rd Person’s Perspective

I think among everything else, this is probably the best element he used to quickly elevate himself to the status of “The Greatest”.

If you’ve been through my Law of Attraction Inner Circle Coaching, you’d know that I shared the best way to manifest an intention on Day 3.

In it, I told the story of Jackie Robinson and how he managed to become a sporting legend :

“I committed to something BIGGER than myself.”

In a way, Ali was doing this as well when he referred to himself in the 3rd Person.

And I think it’s also interesting to note that he said this :

“I don’t ask what Boxing can do for me,

I ask what I can do for Boxing.”

This isn’t just a parody of what President Kennedy said, this is more of what I always do.

I don’t ask if I’m worthy of an intention.

I ask if this intention is something that’s worthy of me.

And that my friend is one of the biggest secrets of my success.

That last two lines alone could be worth a fortune to you…

If you use it.

So, what are you going to do my friend?

We Are One And We Are Love!

Hey there!

Today I have a lovely video for you!

It fills me with love and all those fuzzy feelings when I watched it =)

And I have a feeling it’s going to do the same for you!

I think this video exemplifies the best in the human race =)

I’ve watched it a full 3 times and I’m someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to spare.

Why?

Just a little update :

After the last E-mail I sent you, I received many more requests to get into my Inspired Action Coaching Program which brings the tally to 16 people.

Due to time constraints, I’m only able to work with 10.

And so far, I’ve only picked 8 and I can’t seem to decide on the last 2!

You know, it’s true what Wallace D. Wattles said…

“When abundance comes to you, it will come so fast and furiously that you’ll be wondering where it’s been hiding all these years.”

Okaaay, I might have changed his words a little bit here and there *winks*

P.S. If you’re new here, you might want to take a look at the Free Inspired Action Coaching Program resources here.

P.P.S. I just found out that my friend Evelyn just posted the same video on her blog at the Attraction Mindmap here! I highly recommend that you check out her blog posts there! It’s full of wisdom! =)
