The Secret To A Fulfilling 2010

Hey my friend!

Looking back on 2009, I realized that I did a lot of things for other people’s approval and that became very clear to me when I was at T. Harv Eker’s “Millionaire Mind Intensive” in October.

So, the secret to a fulfilling 2010 for me (and for you too) I believe is to do the things you do because YOU want to.

And as always, I apply everything myself first before I advise you to do it so here’s this principle in action. I’m what you’d call a bathroom singer but I love to sing (and I think I sing decently) but I’ve always been scared to show people so here’s me stepping up and doing what I love to do :

Hope you enjoyed it! Leave me a comment below and tell me ONE THING that you’ve stopped doing to conform to others’ expectations… let it go and DO IT!

  11. Agreed. We tend to do things for the approval of others but it is not all bad. We MUST do things for Allah’s approval.Bottom line is, we need to ask ourselves who we are doing this for? and What is our intention?
Having said that, I will let go of this-answering work related phone calls outside office hours while spending time with those who matters the most to me. As Steven Covey says, do what is important, not what is urgent.

  15. Dear Saiful
I’m glad you have realised that others beliefs and views about ourselves have no impact on us ! I too once cared a little too much about what others thought and it stopped me from living life to its full potential….im glad to say this is not an issue anymore!

  16. @Kav: I’m glad I’ve realized that too.. This need for approval is deeply ingrained in my personality.. If you know Enneagrams, I’m a type 3 and type 3 typically has this problem..

And it’s sooooooo LIBERATING to not be seeking approval anymore! YAYYYY! I’m FREE! =)

  17. Hey! by the way, your house is beautiful. In fact, your voice is fair but you have to work more on the appearance in order to becom a successful singer. Finally, I wish a happy and prosperous year for all the world.

P.S. From what I saw in the background, I am eager to know what your religion is?
