Thanks again Saif this is a good idea if you are already in a positive frame of mind, but if you in a negative frame of mind like you just plain miserable, do you ask yourself:”Why am I so miserable?” Maybe I did not properly understood the concept.

Hey there! I find it useful as it helps me in “thinking” first like what you say about the $1000 thing. Overall, it was good and reasonable (the video up there) ! BYE!!
You may remember that I’ve told you that I run marathons (and even longer distances). In fact I’m so fit (aerobically, but I’m not very strong) that I can eat anything I want and still be in fabulous shape all the time. Why did I tell you that? Because as I watched your video it made me realize the difference in BEING between you and I regarding physical fitness at the moment. For me being fit is such an ingrained habit and thought form that it never occurs to me that it might not be so. And I don’t work hard to stay that way. It’s easy! In fact even when I stop training hard for a while, I’m still just as fit! Why? Because I believe in my heart that I’m fit. Whereas you clearly need to work at it at the moment. I was like that too in the past, some five or six years ago in fact. After two or three years of regular exercise it had all become very much automatic for me. I eat what I want, as much as I want, whenever I want, but I have a very slim figure and all my physical examination results are fabulous! Easy! The key is to BE that person. You’ll BE that person too, Saiful!
Hi Saiful - Thank-you for posting this video - You made some great points and it brought another thought to my mind… I am a “stair climber” also but not only because I want to be healthy and make it a habit, but because I am uncomfortable riding in an elevator! So fear is definitely a motivator. It helps me stay on track with my goals because I am uncomfortable with the alternative!
BTW, I’m going to post the question “Why am I so happy today?” next to my mirror!
Nice! This is exactly the thing that’s gong to help me loose weight as well. Now I’ll use it to establish my workout and study habits I need to make this year awesome!
great stuff saiful…I completely agree with you! in fact I took your advice and bought Eban’s Wake Up Productive…and he talks about how there’s intial resistance but it takes about a week before we consistently begin to apply that habit into our routine!
Thanks Saiful for all of your advice. I definitely have been applying your methods and I love this community - its simply amazing. I have been working very hard on creating positive habits to shape my future. This video today was dead on what I am working on. I exercise everyday, its now considered an priority and everyday I work on building my business and I look for opportunities to expand my business several times a day. I say to myself several times throughout the day - that I am shaping my tomorrow and there is a major pay off. I also heard on a video that I watched that we should view every failure as feedback on what not to do next time. Everyone who was ever successful failed at something, probably at what they achieved, but they had to try it several times. We should persist in the direction of our goals no matter what; because we are more than likely only just about to receive what we are asking for.

@Therese: Hey Therese!!!
Maybe I didn’t explain the concept properly..
So let me clarify some things..
Afformations are usually used as support when
you’re going after a goal.
For instance, if you want $1000, then you ask
yourself, “Why am I attracting $1000 so
easily?”
But in addition to that, I’ve found that it’s
also very powerful for creating and
strengthening new habits..
Thus, the topic of this video!
“Why am I so miserable?” is a question we will
ask ourselves sometimes wouldn’t you agree,
Therese?
Ever noticed that you felt more miserable and
attracted more things to be miserable about as
you ask yourself that question?
You see, we’ve always been using Afformations
and just like the Law of Attraction..
IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN WORKING..
Just against us..
Now, with this awareness we can use
Afformations to get it to work for us! =)
I hope that clears that misunderstanding, Therese!
To CANI,
SaiF
P.S. Will we be having a 30-minute call?

This is the first time I see you commenting on my blog!
THANK YOU for taking time out to do so =)
Yes, “thinking” first can be a good thing..
But tomorrow, you’ll discover that thinking
isn’t always a good thing ;)

@Jussi: Hey Jussi!
Thank you so much for that INSIGHTFUL comment!
Coincidentally (or should I say “Interestingly”) I have been thinking about
that myself.
And just now before I went to weigh in, I thought to myself “I’ve lost 2kg”,
“I feel so much lighter and healthier already”, “I AM healthy!”
Thanks for reminding me that I have to have it in my thoughts before having
it in physical reality.
But I guess the injuries that stop me from doing any rigorous exercise
has limited me in a way since I keep thinking, “How am I going to get fit
now?”
And I also caught myself referring to my body as “fat” now.
And I thought to myself… That’s not right!
I’m not fat… I’m just different.. And I think this labelling has put me in this
BEING that you refer to, Jussi!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INSIGHT!

@Laura: Hi Laura!
Thank you so much for your comment! =)
Haha! You’re like one of my friends - claustraphobic!
And you’re right fear is DEFINITELY a motivator.
Frankly, although I’m driven by pleasure, I react better
when I’m driven by pain!
I think most of us are!
I mean think about it…
Losing your life vs winning a MILLION dollars…
Yup! I’m definitely pain-driven lol
WOW! Laura! That’s a GREAT idea!!!
“Why am I so happy today?” next to your mirror!
GENIUS!!! Thank you Laura!

@Shezheb: Hey Shehzeb!
GREAT! It’s amazing stuff Eban has in there!
Yup, he calls it the Habit Gravity!
I think just the awareness there’s such an
inertia and how long it lasts has helped me
persevere and made it a habit! =)
Thank you for the compliment, Shehzeb!
