The Art of Success - Law of Attraction Style!

I’m almost in tears right now. I’m also angry at myself. Why? Because I was putting the finishing touches to my 2000 word post that took me 2 hours to write and I accidentally pressed on the “back” button on my laptop - Why do they put that button next to the “left arrow” button! - and now I’ve lost all of it! ARGH!!! Why didn’t I save it! I’ll try to write a summary of it instead.

Are you feeling frustrated because you don’t see results? Just a few days ago I received an E-mail from a reader telling me that she has been failing and felt like giving up. We’ve all felt this way, so I went to Youtube and I found the remedy:

I think Brian’s “Try and fail, try and fail, try and fail, try and succeed” model is flawed because the truth is that life is supposed to be easy.

Yes, it’s supposed to be easy, very easy. In fact it’s supposed to be effortless if we know how to to live it. In fact, Jack Canfield just released a program called “Effortless Success” based on the Law of Attraction.

My model for life is “Try and progress, try and progress, try and progress, make a final concerted effort and succeed!”

I feel like I have to make my point here because if you have the belief that you have to fail a few times first before you succeed, it might just come true.

So, let me give you an example of my own successes.

Have you ever looked at someone who succeeded and said to yourself “Wow.. He succeeded? HE succeeded? I can probably do it 10 times better than him and succeed”?

Well I know I have and I know you have too. And you might gone out there and proved to yourself that you can do it 10 times better and succeed 10 times faster.

I know I have. In fact, for as long as I can remember I have taken massive action every single time I said that to myself and as a result I have gotten a lot of success in diverse areas in life from playing professional yo-yo’s to professional soccer to professional acting to….

You get the idea. And in every single one of these activities, I have excelled quite considerably and quite fast and it’s mostly due to the fact that I practise and keep a picture of what I want to be or get in my mind relentlessly.

However it has never come easily. Anyone who knows me well would know that once I take on a new passion I become obsessed over it! I would spend ridiculous amounts of time practicing and training the skill everyday and when I’m not doing that, I’m either watching someone doing what I want to do or I’m practicing in my mind.

4 Lessons From My Successes

1) It’s hard the first time. Yes, believe it or not it’s going to be hard but only because it’s your first time! After some practice, it’s all a breeze really.

2) There is no such thing as competition. Bob Proctor always says “amateurs compete, professionals create” and it doesn’t take much to realize that creating is so much more mature and will bring you further than competition.

3) I create my own fears. This is probably the biggest lesson I’ve learnt. 99% of my fears never materialize and the 1% that do, wouldn’t have materialized if I had not focussed on them.

The biggest point I want to make here is point #1. I don’t believe in “try and fail” as Brian Tracy said. I believe we try, practise, make mistakes, progress and then as we go for the win, we succeed. At least that’s what I have experienced.

4. Track everything! This is the one technique that people overlook the most simply because it’s easy not to do. But this technique alone could save you hundreds of dollars. It sure did for me when I started to track my expenses daily =) I ended up with more money to save an invest!

So How Do I Try And Succeed All The Time?

You remember how I told you that life is going to be easy if you know how to live it?

How you do that is by taking inspired action of course.

When you listen to that inner voice that tells you to do something when you’re going after a goal or in the process of manifesting an intention, you’re listening to the omniscient Universe.

Omniscient (Merriam Webster Online’s definition)

1 : having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight
2 : possessed of universal or complete knowledge

Nothing can beat that! ;)

An Obvious Example Of My Current Success

You’re staring at it! Yes, my blog is what I would define as a current success. You see, when I first started this blog, my intention for it was to serve as a platform to become one of the world’s best Success Coaches and Speakers and Asia’s #1 Success Coach and Speaker.

And I believe over the past 5 months, I have been successful. In such a short period of time, I have a website that ranks at 361,728 in the world and have 517 readers, all without spending a cent on advertising.

This rank is provided by Alexa and if you think 361,728 is quite far, think again. I know of personal development blogs that has been online for a year or two and still rank further from my blog.

Oh by the way, I just took a quick look at the website of fellow Singaporean, Adam Khoo, “Asia’s Top Learning Expert & Success Coach” and it ranks at 571,362.

The rank however means nothing without results in the non-digital world. Thus I have already put into motion my plans for the Inspired Action Coaching Program yesterday at my secret website.

I’m so excited because my vision for the coaching program is to have everyone in it manifest their biggest intentions within a specific period of time with my guidance.

And I know, from experience, that each and everyone of the people who join me will definitely manifest that intention or better.

What Do I Do Now?

“So if you hear a good idea today, resolve to try it and the faster you try it the better”

I couldn’t have put it better myself, Brian! Go out there my friend and implement something, anything, immediately if you feel like you should. Follow your intuition, more specifically that inner voice and you’ll be amazed at what happens next ;)
