The Secret To The Law of Attraction
By SaiF on May 12, 2008 in law of attraction
The secret to the law of attraction is understanding the primary and underlying law, the law of vibration. Watching the video below reminded me of some things that I have forgotten:
Important Points To Note:
- Realize that you are a creator - one who focuses.
- Ask with desires and emotions, not through your words.
- Your emotions are clear indicators of your current vibration.
- Use your emotions as a tool to guide you to match your current vibration to that which you want.
- How you do this is by looking at the world with the intention of looking for things that please you.
- And as you find these things, you will begin to appreciate and be grateful for everything in the Universe.
- You will discover that you become closer to a vibrational harmony with the Source.
- And that vibrational harmony gives you the ability to deliberately co-create that which you want.
An Enlightening Activity For You
I spent the last hour and a half watching Oprah’s webcast about Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth” and Oprah was talking about an exercise she did to achieve “stillness”.
Just to give you a bit of background information, “stillness” or “The Silence” as I like to call it is a state of mind you want to get into because when you do, you are in vibrational harmony with the Universe and inspired ideas come easily.
Inspiration as I’ve mentioned countless times, have been the key to my success (and more importantly, taking action after receiving it.)
You see, the mental activity in your mind is your conscious thinking mind that stops you from receiving inspiration. So in this activity, we will try to eliminate this mental “noise”.
Join Me On This Magnificent Discovery
So let’s try this together. Let’s set this up correctly so you get what I’m saying.
You look at the computer that you’re using to read this now and what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
If you’re like me, the first thing would be “my computer”.
You see, this incessant labeling is what keeps up from getting inspiration because we are constantly barraged by words that we have no space for anything else.

Oprah said that upon reading the first chapter of Tolle’s book, she went out into her garden with the intention of looking at it as if she was just born into this world, as if she was a baby who has no knowledge of words.
Looking at it with a fresh pair of eyes, if you will.
She would not label the flowers and would just look at them as they are.
In other words, just be with them.
Of course, I tried this as well and although I didn’t have a garden, there’s many trees where I live. And if you’ve been to Singapore, you’d know that it is a garden in itself.
So I went out with no intention of looking at things and labelling them.
There was nothing at first.
Just silence.
And then something magnificent happened.
In that silence, I began to “feel” the things around me.
I can’t quite tell you how it feels like, but the closest word I can use to describe it is Life.
It was an overwhelming sense of love engulfing me from all directions and in that moment, I truly discovered the meaning of being a spiritual being.
Now, It’s Your Turn.
If you have difficulties, ask yourself, “Am I still breathing?”.
What this does is it changes your focus to the present moment.
I’d love to know if you had a similar experience, so please leave me a comment and let me know what you experienced with this activity =)

“In that silence, I began to “feel†the things around me.
I can’t quite tell you how it feels like, but the closest word I can use to describe it is Life. ”
This is highly inspiring.

Hi Saif - I find getting into the present moment great for bringing through inspiration, too. Interesting that ‘inspiration’ is a word for both ideas and breathing.
Cheers - Robin

@Robin: Hey Robin!
YES DEFINITELY!
What do you mean when you say inspiration is a word for both ideas and breathing?
I don’t get it…
