The Most Overlooked Success Secret In History

I believe today’s video will remind you of something so simple yet so vital to your success. In fact, it’s so simple that I suspect you might be neglecting it:

Jim Rohn certainly gets his point across very well doesn’t he?

In the video he talked about how the results we get reflects our philosophy, attitude and activity.

I absolutely agree with Jim which is why I’ve got a short list of things for you to keep a tab on:

1) Physical Health

You might remember that some time ago, I found myself being unproductive when I pushed myself too hard and ended up falling sick for a few days.

This is why keeping a tab on your health is number one on this list. Here are a few things that I suggest you keep track of:

i) Number of exercise hours. I have to be honest with you. I haven’t exercised strenously for quite some time now - only because I can’t walk. However, I do upper body exercises and weights but they don’t shed pounds if you know what I mean.

If you’re just beginning, start with 30 minutes and keep increasing that by 5 minutes every week until you reach an hour. If you’re an aspiring body-builder, don’t fall for the trap and think that the longer you spend in the gym, the bigger your muscles are going to be. The rule of thumb is to keep it under an hour. What you should be increasing is…

ii) Your exercise regime.
For instance, I keep track of how many repetitions and sets of weights I do everyday. Progressively, I will increase the volume of weights used, repetitions and sets for each body group.

A word of caution: If you’re anything like me, you’ll find yourself wanting to increase the weights FAST. Trust me on this one, you don’t want to do that! Remember what Jim said, all you have to do is “make measurable progress in reasonable time”.

Jim Rohn called it “the wisdom of the world”. Definitely! However, don’t think that the more books you read the better your life is going to be.

Note that Jim called it wisdom and not knowledge. Wisdom, I believe is only obtained through experience and I know you’ve heard this millions of times before: TAKE ACTION on what you read!

i) Number of Books. Nowadays, since I’m taking a lot of inspired MASSIVE ACTION I found myself not having enough time to read anything. However, I do make it a point to at least read ONE book per month.

ii) Variety of Books. I know how it feels like to want to concentrate on one topic only. For instance I loved to read everything Tony Robbins wrote. The problem: I ONLY read Tony Robbins’ material!

So when I found Dr Joe Vitale’s material and The Secret, I started kicking myself in the rear! Why didn’t I read about Law of Attraction before?

So, my suggestion is to expand your horizon. Read up on different kinds of materials. If your health is great, stop reading health magazines! You might be out of shape in the relationships department!

You might be wondering, how do you keep a tab on your relationships? Well, although what you’re tracking won’t be tangible, it doesn’t mean you don’t have to keep a tab on it. Here are some suggestions:

i) How many times have you made your loved ones smile today?

ii) How many hours of UNDIVIVED attention have you given to your loved ones?

iii) How many times did you show appreciation to your loved ones?

iv) How many times did you show you love your loved ones?

Tracking my daily expenses for three months has made the BIGGEST difference in the world. I don’t know if I’ve told you this before but in that three months, my cashflow went from -$28 to +$149 JUST by tracking daily expenses!

From experience, here’s what I tracked:

i) Take down every expenditure, big or small into a small notebook.

That’s weird. I thought I did more! But I guess the key is really just to track EVERYTHING! Because when you do that you’ll realize instinctively whether you need to increase or decrease your expenditure.

Oh wait! There was something else:

ii) Tithing.
If you’re new to this concept, it simply means you give away money to people or charities usually 10% of your income.

WARNING: Tithing is supposed to feel good. You’re supposed to feel gratitude for being able to have money to give. If you’re feeling any pain in giving it away, the point of tithing is lost. So, the key is to give to someone or a cause that makes you feel good!

When I started out, I only gave to my friends. Yes, treating your friend to Starbucks is also considered tithing! And you know what’s funny, I’ll get back the amount I gave away and then some! Usually it’s the next day..

How about you? Have you had the same experience before? Yes, I know it’s amazing how our Universe works. Oh talking about tithing, I want to give you an E-book by Joe Vitale called “The Greatest Money Making Secret In History”

I want to end off with a quote from today’s video:

“Do not curse what’s available and start amending what’s possible.”

You can reach great heights my friend!

Start giving gratitude for what you have and make use of your talents to bring you where you want to go!
