How To Wake Up In The Morning Brimming With Energy

Do you believe in meditation, my friend? I remember when I was undergoing my Theatre Studies Drama course, we would always have a serene and peaceful 20 to 30 minute session called warm-ups.

We’d be in our warm comfy Blacks (Black shirt & Black pants - like in the picture of my friend above) and we would lie in a room called the Black Box. The moment we entered the room, everything was done silently and peacefully in reverance of “the sacred space.”

We would slowly lie down, our exposed skin touching the cold floor. Our minds scattered with thoughts of how aching our bodies were, where we’re going after school, what we had for lunch, how etc.

The amazing thing is that by the end of that 20 minutes, I would feel as if I was reborn. As if all the worry in the world is gone and there was only me and my art.

The magic was mostly in the relaxing music and the words suggested to our subconscious by our Theatre Teacher, Mr Lofthouse as we do some exercises. Today, I found one such video and I think you’re absolutely going to love it.
