Hi!
Today we’ll be discussing the second installment of “What The
Bleep Do We Know?!”
What do our eyes see?
Do your eyes really see everything in front of you
as you’re sitting in front of this computer now?
Is seeing really believing?
Watch this now to find out:
That story about the Native American Indians was just mind-
blowing wasn’t it?
Our eyes are like the lenses of the camera
What we see are just what our brain has the ability to consciously
project. We only see what we believe is possible.
We only match patterns that we can see ourselves.”
I think it’s amazing that our brains can only comprehend what
we already understand and not what we don’t.
Don’t you think that really impedes on our ability to succeed
at something we’ve never done before?
DEFINITELY!
So what do we do?
Here are some suggestions:
1) Get A Mentor!
How the Native American Indians couldn’t see Columbus’ ships
approaching even though they existed on the horizon is just
mind-boggling to me!
So, just like how the villagers couldn’t see Columbus’ ships
approaching, we can’t see the opportunities or problems that
are right in front of our faces if we’ve never faced them before.
“Because they have no knowledge, no previous experience of
what ships are. When the people believed in the Shaman, they saw the ships.”
We may see the ripples, but we may not know what’s producing
it and knowing what are causing those ripples could mean all
the difference between winning and losing.
Between living and dying.
But when we have a mentor or a Shaman, he can help us see
what we need to see before it hits us.
An advice that was given to me today when watching the “Pass
It On” Video on Youtube was to find someone who’s already succeeded in
the field that I want to succeed in and be mentored by him.
I would like to add one thing:
It’s good to have a mentor that is physically present with
you as you go for your dreams but it doesn’t have to neccessarily
be that way.
You can have mentors in the form of books, audio programs
and videos.
In this way, you’ll get “second opinions” as my Mom calls it.
In this way, you’ll open your mind to diverse solutions and
select the one that you believe will make the biggest impact.
2) Have A Reality-based Thinking
“We create the effects of reality.
All of this really is illusion.
There is no out there out there independent of what’s going
on in here.It just depends on what you think is real.
In Anthony Robbins’ Power Talk series that I’m currently
listening to at the moment, Dr Wayne Dyer talks about how
he attracted an arrogant man who was angry and yelling at
him the day before he did the interview with Tony because
he wasn’t supposed to be on the man’t propert when he shouldn’t
be or something.
Listen to these words of wisdom from Wayne Dyer:
“Your reality is how you process it.
We are what we think about all the time.
I was meditating on it and it bothered me the whole day but…
I was over it in a second.
I said to myself:
This is only a problem for you because you process it.
The guy who came into your life in a negative way is just
on a path that he’s on.Your reality is how you’re living with it.
He came in to teach you a lesson and the lesson is that you
don’t have to process him like that any longer and it was
gone.I realised that it was all within my power to let him go.”
My friend, along the way to achieving our goals we’re going
to be faced with difficult obstacles and negative people if
we want to or not.
That’s life.
But just like Wayne Dyer said, we can process life any way
we want to.
We can simply choose not to process the negativities and
lead life according to how we want to lead it.
It’s your life.
You decide.
I just want to take a moment here to remind you of the 4
statements that will help you release the negative energy:
1) I LOVE YOU
2) I’M SORRY
3) PLEASE FORGIVE ME
4) THANK YOU
To end it off, I shall quote Bob Proctor from “The Secret”:
If you can see it in here, you will hold it here
SaiF Improvement For The Day: Get a mentor that will see
the obstacles and opportunities before you do and if you
run into negative people along the way, find comfort in the
fact that you can choose not to process him and continue
leading the life you co-create
