The Beauty Of Personal Development Captured In Ten Words By Jim Rohn
I’ve watched this video before but dismissed it after
about 30 seconds because Jim Rohn’s not my kind of speaker.
When you begin to watch this video, you will notice this
too.
But 3 minutes into the video, he shares some really
astounding words of wisdom including one sentence that
got me saying “…. wow.. That’s beautiful…”
It captured the beauty and essence of Personal Development
in just 10 words.
Watch it now to listen to these beautful words of wisdom:
That really was one of those life-changing moments wasn’t
it?
Gosh! I’m so excited by this video!
Let’s unfold the beauty of his words again…
This is all they pay.
Well, that’s not true.
This is all the company pays.
No.. This is all the company pays you
Doesn’t the company pay 2,3,4,5 times this amount to other
people.Well, yes.
Then, this isn’t what the company pays, it’s what they pay
you.If you qualify, wouldn’t your income grow 2,3,4,5 times?
I suppose so.
We don’t have to work on the company, we have to work
on youYou see, that was the beginning of what he called, the phrase,
Personal Development.
As I was typing that, I felt a sense of enlightenment.
I can’t put into words what I felt, or what I’m still feeling
rather, but it’s just…
Urgh, I told you I can’t put it into words, but it’s just
BEAUTIFUL.
I think it’s because I’ve had these disparate principles that
I try to practise daily in my mind.
Yet, the priciples - like taking 100% responsibility for your
life, not blaming outside circumstances, that everything on
the outside is just an illusion - can be summed up in that
short but powerful excerpt.
I suggest you listen to the conversation between Jim Rohn
and his mentor, Earl Shiefe again, and again and again just
like I did.
And one more astonishing excerpt:
Things cost too much..
No, you can’t afford them.
Again the emphasis is on self.
You know, we put the valuable things on the high shelf so that
you can’t get to them until you qualify. If you want the things on the higher shelf, you’ve got to
stand on the books you read.Every book you read you get to stand a little higher so you
can get the things on the higher shelf. And here was the important one.
Success is something you attract by the person you become.
That phrase changed my life.
Even though I know about the law of attraction and have
been talking about it for some time now, the way it was
revealed to me was that I should “Let Go” for the Divine
to take care of.
But this…
This emphasizes a different aspect of the law of attraction.
So, let me say that again.
Success is something you attract by the person you become.
“Success is not something you pursue.”
Wow! Another great piece of wisdom there. Things tend to run
away from us whenever we try to pursue them so…
This is definitely one of the best paradigm-shifting phrases
in 2008 for me, so I’ll say it again:
Success is not something you pursue.
Success is something you attract by the person you become.
And as an added bonues for those of us who have money as one
of our top priorities…
“Your income is directly related to your philosophy not to
the economy.”
This video REALLY MADE MY DAY, I hope it did the same for you!
SaiF Improvement for the day: I think you already know what it
is… and I love saying it again, so here we go! Success is not
something you pursue. Sucess is something you attract by the
person you become.

“Success s something you attract by the persona you become”
- You can’t sum it up any better than that.
I love how he stated that “Your Philosophy needs to change not the economy”
A simple yet powerful message, makes you realize that thinking to hard into something isn’t worth the stress…The answer is just plain simple.
What a great share - Thank You!

@ John Cow:
Success Is Something You Attract By…
…the person you become! And John, aren’t you that
high-profile blogger I’ve heard about?
Oh yes you are! Haha! Hey man!
You’ve definitely “become an attractive person”
And you’re right man, you definitely can’t sum it up better than that!
I don’t know about you John but I’m beginning to learn
that life and success can be summed up to just a few
things like how Math ultimately comes down to just
+, -, x and divide (haha i just realized there’s no divide
symbol except for /)
Wouldn’t you agree, John?
By the way, thank you for visiting my blog! =)
Please enjoy all the inspirational videos here, John!
Sincerely,
SaiF
P.S. While I’ve got your attention, what would you say
is the top 3 things / skills you wish you had when you
first started your venture into successful blogging?

Thanks for the kind words… I guess my top three would be…
1. Lead capture: this is vital, make sure you capture leads via email.
2. Patience: The world is full of people who want to be spitefull and hurtful but try not to let it get to you, they are a very small percentage
3. Vision: 3 years ago I looked at “web 2″ as something not to be taken seriously… it was a full year later that I decided to take a second look… Always test and try out new things.
