Our Biggest Enemy Next To Procrastination

Wow! That’s all I can say after hearing what he’s got to say.
In this clip, Stephen Fry tells us one habit that we must get rid
of if we want to be happy.
Watch this short but important excerpt now:
It’s true what Oscar Wilde said isn’t it?
“It destroys everything around it except itself.”
At the end of the day, once everything’s gone, you’re still
left with that destructive feeling - it’s probably even
stronger now that you’ve lost almost everything but…
You can choose not to be self-pitying.
“Because if you don’t, it will destroy relationships, anything
that’s good, fulfill all e prophecies and leave only itself.”
The important lesson here is that being in a victim mindset,
which is what self-pitying is all about, will only destroy
anything and everything that matters.
Because it’s easy not to take responsibility of our lives,
isn’t it?
To say that we can’t do anything about something although we
know we can because it just makes life a bit more difficult
doesn’t it?
“It’s easy to say that things are unfair, one is under-appreciated,
and that if only one had a chance at this, if only one had a
chance at that, things would be better, one would could be happier,
or that one is unlucky”
I’m still trying to find a way to eliminate self-pity
totally.
But I believe the urge to pity oneself is always there.
The only way I’ve found to stop the self-pitying is to embrace
it.
By using Ho’oponopono and saying to the Divine:
I LOVE YOU.
I’M SORRY.
PLEASE FORGIVE ME.
THANK YOU.
And then saying to myself, “Thank you. I’m fine.” and just
go out there and live life actively and taking 100% responsibility
for my life =)
So my friend, there are gonna be times when it feels like
pitying ourselves is so much easier.
There are going to be times when we’re gonna say to ourselves,
“This is unfair! I deserve better!”
Embrace it.
Let the feeling be there.
Say “Thank you. I’m fine” and keep actively creating the
circumstances that you want.
I’ve got a challenge for you.
Try to go a day without pitying for yourself.
It’s easier said then done.
But the day you can do that consistently, promise me when I
say your life will be so much greater!

SaiF Improvement for the day: Stop feeling pity for yourself,
for it will eat you from the inside out. Go out and find the
circumstnces you want, and when you can’t find them, MAKE THEM.
